Barbara graduated from the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology with a Masters of Counseling Psychology in 2010. She is a foster/adoptive mom herself, and loves working with kids and adults. Barbara has an interpersonal style to therapy; and uses educational, solution-focused therapy for specific needs. Barbara enjoys leading both parent and kids' groups, and has helped to lead the ongoing children's music and art group for the past 4 years. Barbara is trained and experienced in trauma-informed therapy; which includes working with children, adoptive families, adult survivors of trauma and abuse, and marital therapy. Barbara works in both the Tacoma and Seattle offices. Her hobbies include swimming, writing, painting, reading, and cooking. |
